Primary Level (Paper I)
(Class 1st to 5th)
  1. 10+2 Intermediate with minimum 50% marks and 2-Year D.Ed. in Special Education.
  2. Graduation with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  3. Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed., subject to the applicable rules.
Upper Primary Level (Paper II)
(Class 6th to 8th)
  1. Graduation with at least 50% marks and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  2. Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.
  3. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and four-year B.El.Ed.
  4. Graduation with at least 50% marks and one-year B.Ed. in Special Education.
