Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination June 2025 - Overview
The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) is a National-Level Examination conducted in India by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of CSIR to determine the eligibility of candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/Assistant Professor positions in Indian universities and colleges.
The exam covers 5 subjects: Life Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean & Planetary Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences.

CSIR UGC NET Examination June 2025 was conducted on 28 July 2025 (09:00 AM to 12:00PM) & (03:00 PM to 06 PM) in two shift. The Joint CSIR UGC NET Examination June 2025 is conducted in computer-based mode (CBT), and the eligibility generally requires a Master’s degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD).
