Short Information : Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the dates of Computer-Based Test (CBT) for Group-D (Level-1) recruitment under CEN-08/2024. Recruitment will be done for 32,438 posts in this phase. This application form was invited from date 23.01.2025 to 01.03.2025.
Exam Date, Selection Process, City Intimation Slip & Admit Card (Hall Ticket) : The examination will start from 17 November 2025 and will continue till the end of December 2025. CBT (Online Exam), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification and Medical Examination are included in the selection process. RRB Group D Selection Process
The selection process for RRB Railway Group D involves several
stages. It begins with a Computer-Based Test (CBT), which is an objective-type examination covering topics like
Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, and General
Awareness. Candidates who qualify for the CBT are shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), where physical fitness is assessed based on tasks like Running - (Male - 1000 meters in 4 minutes & 15 second) and (Female - 1000 meters in 5 minutes & 40 second) and Lifting Weights - (Male - 35 kg 100 meters in 2 minutes) and (Female - 20 kg 100 meters in 2 minutes) . Following PET, candidates undergo Document Verification (DV) to verify eligibility and credentials. The final stage
is a Medical Examination, ensuring candidates meet the required medical standards for
the post. The merit list is prepared based on CBT performance, subject to
qualifying the PET, DV, and medical exam.
