The BPSC 70th Combined CCE/CDPO Examination is conducted in three stages: A. Preliminary Examination:
· This is an objective-type exam with multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
· Total Marks: 150
· Duration: 2 hours
· The exam includes General Studies, focusing on current events, history,
geography, polity, economics, and general science.
· There is no negative marking in the preliminary exam.
B. Mains Examination: · The Mains exam consists of four papers: General Hindi, General Studies
Paper 1, General Studies Paper 2, and an Optional Subject.
· General Hindi is qualifying in nature and requires at least 30 marks to
pass.
· General Studies Papers carry 300 marks each, while the Optional Subject
also carries 300 marks.
· Each paper is of 3 hours duration. C. Interview:
· The interview carries 120 marks.
· It assesses the personality, communication skills, and overall
suitability of the candidate for the administrative role.
