Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2024 : Apply Online Form for Assistant Professor

Government of Karnataka has directed Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) to conduct Karnataka State Eligibility Test 2024 (KSET-2024) for Assistant Professor. Accordingly (KEA) has invited online applications from the eligible candidates for the KSET-2024 examination provisionally scheduled on 24.11.2024 (Sunday). The provisional time table of KSET-2024 examination is as follows.

Age Limit :

 

·         There is no upper age limit to apply for KSET-2024.

 
Educational Qualifications :

·         Candidates must have a Master’s degree or equivalent in the relevant subject from a UGC-recognized university.

·         Subjects include arts, humanities, social sciences, commerce, education, and other subjects listed in the KSET syllabus.

·         General/EWS: At least 55% marks in the Master’s degree (without rounding off).

·         SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PwD: At least 50% marks in the Master’s degree (without rounding off).

·         Candidates who are in their final year of Master's degree or are awaiting results can also apply. However, they must complete their degree with the required percentage within two years of the KSET result declaration.

·         Candidates with a Ph.D. degree whose Master's was completed by 19th September 1991 are eligible for a relaxation of 5% in the marks requirement.

·         Candidates with a foreign Master's degree must ensure that it is recognized by the Indian government and UGC.
