The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2024 is a state-level examination conducted by the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) to determine eligibility for teaching positions in Haryana schools. It is divided into three levels:
 
1.      Level 1 - For Primary Teachers (PRT) teaching classes I-V.
2.      Level 2 - For Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) teaching classes VI-VIII.
3.      Level 3 - For Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) teaching classes IX-XII.

HTET 2024 Notification : Educational Qualification 

The HTET (Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test) 2024 qualifications for each level are as follows:

1.      Level 1 (Primary Teacher, Classes 1–5):

    • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) OR
    • Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and a 2-year D.El.Ed as per NCTE regulations OR
    • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
    • Graduation and a 2-year D.El.Ed.

2.      Level 2 (TGT, Classes 6–8):

    • Graduation and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
    • Graduation with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR
    • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed OR
    • Graduation with at least 45% marks and B.Ed as per NCTE regulations.

3.      Level 3 (PGT, Classes 9–12):

    • Post-Graduation in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
